Ubicado en el corazón de La Veleta, Tulum, este centro comercial de cinco locales se concibe como un punto de encuentro entre la vida contemporánea y la memoria ancestral del lugar. Entre sus espacios se distribuyen boutiques, cafés y restaurantes, conformando un entorno vibrante que respira el espíritu relajado y sofisticado de Tulum.

La arquitectura, inspirada en las ruinas mayas y en las plataformas pétreas que definen su paisaje arqueológico, utiliza piedra local y acabados en chukum para reinterpretar la esencia del sitio con un lenguaje contemporáneo. Las plataformas escalonadas y los volúmenes sobrios evocan la monumentalidad serena de las antiguas estructuras, mientras que las texturas y tonalidades cálidas integran el proyecto con la vegetación tropical que lo rodea.

Located in the heart of La Veleta, Tulum, this five-unit commercial center is envisioned as a meeting point between contemporary life and the ancestral memory of the region. Home to boutiques, cafés, and restaurants, it creates a vibrant yet tranquil environment that captures the refined, laid-back spirit of Tulum.

The architecture draws inspiration from the ancient Mayan ruins and the stone platforms that define Tulum’s archaeological landscape. Using local stone and chukum finishes, the design reinterprets this heritage through a modern lens. Stepped platforms and sober volumes recall the serene monumentality of the ruins, while warm textures and earthy tones blend seamlessly with the surrounding tropical vegetation.
